Volleyball Recap: Holmes Takes Down Camden County in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Holmes walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Camden County Bruins 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Aces sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Holmes got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 8-25, 25-14, 16-25, 15-13.

Their offense was headlined by Kamonni Mathews and SarahLogan Cobb, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Harper Evans and her 30 assists. Mariah Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Camden County, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

Coming up, Holmes will head out to face off against Perquimans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
