The Armwood Hawks proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 37) but on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Durant 35-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Armwood has posted yet this season.

Aniyah Moreno was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Ankers, who scored seven points along with two steals.

When it comes to explaining why Durant lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elani-hazel Randall. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ja'Kierrea Cohen, who scored six points along with two steals.
