Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Prep Takes a Loss

Santa Fe Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 51-15 loss at the hands of the Jemez Valley Warrior. If the Blue Griffins were looking for revenge after losing 74-29 to them when the teams met back in January of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Santa Fe Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Jemez Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Fe Prep will challenge Academy for Technology and The Classics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jemez Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Monte Del Sol Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
