Basketball Recap: Fort Elliott Skates Past Miami with Ease

There's no place like home for Fort Elliott, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 64-36 win over the Miami Warriors. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 59-38 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Miami lost, don't look at Breken Early. Despite the final result, he posted seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Early has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landry Dukes, who scored seven points and six rebounds.

Fort Elliott's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Miami, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-9.
