Softball Recap: West Memphis Comes Up Short

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 21-2 to the Marion Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Tuesday.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Marion, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Memphis will take on Harrisburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marion, they will face off against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
