Softball Recap: Robinson Maroons vs. Richland County Tigers
Robinson was the 4-1 winner over Richland County when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Robinson Maroons fell 12-9 to the Richland County Tigers on Thursday.
Robinson got a big performance out of Brylee Yates, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Brashear, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base.
Robinson dropped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Richland County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
