Baseball Recap: Owen Miller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bangor

Wilson Area hadn't done well against Bangor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Wilson Area never let Bangor get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The result came thanks to Liam Coyle's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, Wilson Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Miller hit this season.

Wilson Area's record is now 3-4. As for Bangor, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
