Chenango Valley had won four straight on the road, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 8-4 to make it five. They had just enough and edged out the Owego Free Academy River Hawks 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the River Hawks on Wednesday, they had to take a 7-4 defeat.
