Basketball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights at home by a 62-45 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-61 back in November of 2024.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Chuckey-Doak, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson County will square off against University School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson County is facing University School at the right time seeing as University School is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Chuckey-Doak, they will challenge West Greene at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
