Volleyball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Poudre Community Academy on Monday, Addenbrooke Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-13.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's offense was headlined by Reena Lanzen and Jubilee Trueman, who picked up three kills apiece. Lanzen really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five.

Grace Gilmartin was the offensive standout of the match as she had 18 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7. As for Ascent Classical Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
