Soccer Recap: South Florida HEAT's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against True North Classical Academy, South Florida HEAT was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Lake Worth Christian Defenders. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for South Florida HEAT considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Their offense was hitting Lake Worth Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

South Florida HEAT moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Lake Worth Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Florida HEAT will take on King's Academy in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth Christian and Katz Yeshiva will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th.
