Soccer Recap: Williams Field Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Williams Field was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Williams Field's goal came courtesy of Rusty Moss, who's now up to five this season.

Williams Field's draw makes their record 4-4-1 this season. Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge's record is now 6-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams Field won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Arizona College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Mountain Ridge will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Valley Vista at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
