Football Recap: Newark Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Hudson Catholic

Newark Collegiate Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Hudson Catholic Hawks on Saturday, falling 30-6. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The victory got Hudson Catholic back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Newark Collegiate Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Snyder on Friday. As for Hudson Catholic, they will face off against Hoboken at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
