Baseball Recap: Central Dauphin Comes Up Short

Central Dauphin came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Hempfield Black Knights.

Charlie Long made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Scaringi, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Central Dauphin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hempfield, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Central Dauphin will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cedar Cliff at 4:15 p.m. As for Hempfield, they will head out to square off against Manheim Township at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
