Soccer Recap: Mabank Takes a Loss

Mabank managed to keep up with Kennedale until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mabank Panthers came up short against the Kennedale Wildcats, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Mabank's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Kennedale, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mabank will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Community at 7:15 p.m. on February 5th. As for Kennedale, they are taking a road trip to face off against Polytechnic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
