Volleyball Recap: Churchland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Norcom on Monday, Churchland came back down to earth. The Truckers came up short against the Manor Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Truckers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-19, 25-19.

Olivia Enright paced Churchland's offense, picking up three kills. Enright got some help from Adriana Lomonaco and her three assists. Aiyana Samuels controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Churchland has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Manor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Churchland is set to challenge their familiar foe Norview at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Manor will face off against rival Norcom at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
