Basketball Recap: Washington Falls Short of St. James Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington can now relate to. The matchup between the Washington Wildcats and the St. James Academy Thunder didn't end well, with the Washington Wildcats falling 54-38. The Wildcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for St. James Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. James Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bonner Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bonner Springs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something St. James Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
