Soccer Game Preview: Friendly vs. Potomac

The Friendly Patriots will head out to square off against the Potomac Wolverines at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Friendly barely beat Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Falcons 5-1 on Thursday. Friendly have beaten Central the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Central has come to flipping the script.

Friendly hit Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gideon Darko (3), Joseph Carcamo, and Jahmir Wilkerson.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Potomac, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand International High School at Largo a 3-0 shutout on Monday.

Friendly picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Potomac, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.
