Slaughter Community Charter had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Varnado Wildcats, posting a 43-0 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Carson Baxter went supernova, rushing for 54 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 48 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Ty'Kimion Ford, who picked up 48 receiving yards and two scores.
