Nature Coast Tech is 8-1-1 against Hudson since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Nature Coast Tech Sharks will head out on the road to challenge the Hudson Cobras at 7:00 p.m. Nature Coast Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Nature Coast Tech proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 30) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Cypress Creek 6-4.

Nature Coast Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MARIO DEANGELIS, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Central.

Nature Coast Tech pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Nature Coast Tech has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hudson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Everything went Nature Coast Tech's way against Hudson when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Nature Coast Tech made off with a 12-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nature Coast Tech since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
