Volleyball Recap: Genesis Academy Comes Up Short

Genesis Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Central Georgia Arts by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Genesis Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 24-26, 15-10.

Genesis Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Central Georgia Arts, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Genesis Academy will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Genesis Academy is facing Trinity Classical at the right time seeing as Trinity Classical is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Central Georgia Arts, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Holy Ground Baptist Academy on the 11th.
