Soccer Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Pearl River Central Blue Devils. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in December of 2022.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Pearl River Central, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Columbia duke it out with the Lawrence County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearl River Central, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against George County on the 14th.
