Football Recap: West Islip Comes Up Short

West Islip and Smithtown West squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Islip had to settle for second. They were beaten by Smithtown West 42-10. The Lions have struggled against Smithtown West recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

West Islip's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Smithtown West, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

As of now, neither West Islip nor Smithtown West have any future games scheduled.
