Football Recap: University School Find Success

There's no place like home for University School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over the St. Charles Cardinals on Friday.

University School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Kim led the charge by rushing for 141 yards and a pair of TDs. Kim also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Preppers are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Nico Morelli was another key signal caller, throwing for 176 yards and one touchdown while completing 81.8% of his passes.

University School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for St. Charles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

University School has already played their next contest, a 35-14 win against Howland on the 24th. As for St. Charles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 65-7 defeat against Bishop Watterson on the 24th.
