Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hope Christian Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 44-21 to the Brunswick Christian Academy Eagles. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brunswick Christian Academy was led to victory by Tristen Crum and Kaiven Diggs. Crum posted 12 points, while Diggs scored eight points. Pierce Saunders was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.

Hope Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Brunswick Christian Academy, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.
