It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West had no problem doing just that on Friday. They beat the Cyprus Pirates by a goal, winning 2-1. The win continues a trend for West in their matchups with Cyprus: they've now won three in a row.

Uche Eke-Ukoh and Andy Peterson scored both of West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

West's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Cyprus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, West will challenge Wasatch at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wasatch will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something West surely won't give up without a fight. Cyprus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
