Volleyball Recap: Agawam Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Agawam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Longmeadow Spartans. Brownies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Spartans since Friday.

The final score came out to 25-22, 13-25, 25-18, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Agawam lost, don't look at Mia Atkins. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs. Atkins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Agawam's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for East Longmeadow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Agawam will take on Wahconah Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Longmeadow, they will square off against Ludlow at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
