Recap: Clements Colts vs. Tanner Rattlers
The Clements Colts suffered their biggest loss since December 27, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 63-39 loss at the hands of Tanner. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clements in their matchups with Tanner: they've now lost five in a row.
Leading Tanner to victory were Skylar Townsend and Cade Dorning. Townsend scored 15 points, while Dorning scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dorning has scored all season. Another player making a difference was TreJ lett, who scored eight points.
Clements has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Tanner, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Clements will head out on the road to challenge Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering is ranked 364th, while Clements is ranked 383rd). As for Tanner, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against East Limestone at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th.
