Basketball Recap: Winston Drops Highest Score of Season Against Pattonsburg

Winston scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Pattonsburg Panthers by a score of 54-52. The Red Birds haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Winston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pattonsburg, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Winston will be playing at home against North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Harrison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Winston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pattonsburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-27 win against Tri-County on the 10th.
