Basketball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Oakwood Comets lost to the Tolono Unity Rockets at home by a 60-45 margin. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 446th, while the Rockets are ranked 104th).

This is the second loss in a row for Oakwood and nudges their season record down to 17-13. As for Tolono Unity, they pushed their record up to 23-8 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road.

As of now, neither Oakwood nor Tolono Unity have any future games scheduled.
