Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Blair's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Blair won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Yellowjackets.

Emma Ammon paced Blair's offense, picking up ten kills. Ammon got some help from Kate Faue and her 16 assists. Ammon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Blair is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

Blair will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against St. Albert at 1:00 p.m. As for Jefferson, they will head out to square off against Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
