Volleyball Recap: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Takes a Loss

Dreyfoos School of the Arts and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Dreyfoos School of the Arts had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

St. Thomas Aquinas found their leader in freshman Joseph Virginio, who had nine digs and two aces.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 9th.
