Softball Recap: Corinth Christian Academy Warriors vs. First Christian Lions

Corinth Christian Academy won against Open Bible Christian last Thursday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Corinth Christian Academy Warriors walked away with a 16-13 win over the First Christian Lions. The victory was nothing new for Corinth Christian Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

Rielynn Hudson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Jamielyn Hudson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

On First Christian's side, Mackenzie Atkinson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and 14 unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Kylie Buker stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Tori Loehr was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

Corinth Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for First Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
