Baseball Recap: Illinois Valley Takes a Loss

Illinois Valley lost against Brookings-Harbor back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars came up short against the Bruins, falling 20-14. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Illinois Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Brookings-Harbor, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Illinois Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-13 loss against Bonanza on the 25th. As for Brookings-Harbor, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-0 victory against St. Mary's on the 25th.
