Herriman waltzed into their game on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. While the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was the Mustangs who were credited with the win. The Herriman Mustangs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels's four. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in March.

Herriman hit Mountain Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jace Thomsen (2), Elijah Conley, and Avery Price.

Herriman's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Mountain Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Herriman is set to take on their familiar foe Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge will square off against rival Salt Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
