Basketball Recap: Gatewood's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Georgia Military College, Gatewood was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They snuck past the John Hancock Academy Rebels with a 54-48 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Gators as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for John Hancock Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Gatewood and Mount de Sales Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for John Hancock Academy, they will take on Edmund Burke Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
