Soccer Recap: Garrett Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Garrett can now relate to. They fell just short of the Angola Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Angola this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in September.

Gabe Armstrong wasn't going to let Angola walk away unscathed as he scored both of Garrett's goals, bringing his season total up to 16 goals.

Garrett moved to 5-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Angola, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-10-1.

Garrett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Angola, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Leo on the 8th.
