Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Paso Robles' Winning Streak

Paso Robles lost against Righetti back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats fell 3-1 to the Warriors. The Bearcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Righetti scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22.

Paso Robles' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Righetti, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Paso Robles and Bakersfield Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bearcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Righetti, they will venture away from home to square off against Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
