Basketball Recap: Craig County Comes Up Short

Craig County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 49-36 loss to the Highland Rams. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 53-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Craig County's record is now 0-11. As for Highland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.

Craig County will face off against Bath County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to challenge Narrows at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
