Softball Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro fell victim to East Bernard and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 13-0 to the East Bernard Brahmas. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Navarro is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. As for East Bernard, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Looking ahead, Navarro will square off against Llano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Navarro has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for East Bernard, they will take on Sacred Heart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
