Baseball Game Preview: Benjamin Buccaneers vs. Gulliver Prep Raiders

The Benjamin Buccaneers will head out on the road to square off against the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Benjamin is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Benjamin is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since March 6th on Tuesday. They came up short against Saint Andrew's, falling 11-1.

Benjamin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Buchanan, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep lost 13-3 to NSU University on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost three in a row.

Benjamin's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Gulliver Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Benjamin skirted past Gulliver Prep 4-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
