Ansley/Litchfield posted their closest win since October 15, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Axtell Wildcats. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jenna Holm paced Ansley/Litchfield's offense, picking up 12 kills. Holm got some help from Caydence Feldman and her 31 assists. Kiera Bailey and Asia Lyon kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Ansley/Litchfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Axtell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ansley/Litchfield will venture away from home to take on Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Axtell, they will head out to challenge Elm Creek on Thursday.
