Carrollton had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Metro-East Lutheran Knights by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hadley Lake paced Carrollton's offense, picking up six kills. Lake got some help from Landry Robeen and her 19 assists. Robeen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 23-4-1. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season.

Carrollton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Morton on the 18th. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunker Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
