The third road game was the charm for Crestview, as they earned their first away win of the season. They blew past the South Central Trojans, posting a 44-7 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Crestview can attribute much of their success to Liam Kuhn, who threw for 281 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Kuhn has posted since back in October of 2024. 105 of Kuhn's passing yards were hauled in by Karter Goon.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Crestview's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jack Stephens and Montgomery Cline, who racked up 4.5 sacks between them. The game marked Cline's first with multiple sacks this season.
Crestview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
