Basketball Recap: Suncoast Find Success

If Park Vista wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Suncoast, they should've done a better job of containing Philleah Bright. The Suncoast Chargers came out on top against the Park Vista Cobras by a score of 58-48 on Monday thanks in part to Bright, who posted 23 points and six boards. The matchup was her seventh in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Keyanna Goss, who put up 17 points and eight rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played.

Suncoast's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Park Vista, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Suncoast and Jupiter will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Park Vista, they will square off against West Boca Raton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
