Volleyball Recap: Klein Collins' Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Klein Collins came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers.

Klein Collins had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Aggieland HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Hoeschle had 17 digs and three aces. Those 17 digs gave Hoeschle a new career-high.

Klein Collins' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Klein Collins is set to take on their familiar foe Village at 4:30 p.m. on April 2. Meanwhile, Aggieland HomeSchool will square off against rival Willis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
