Beaver is a perfect 4-0 against Water Canyon since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Beaver Beavers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Water Canyon Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Beaver has eight straight victories, Water Canyon has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Beaver is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Grand County, who was ranked 20th at the time (Beaver was ranked fifth). Beaver skirted past Grand County 3-1.

Beaver's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Hollingshead, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Bridger Blackner also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Water Canyon fell victim to Milford and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-0.

Beaver pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Water Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Beaver's way against Water Canyon in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Beaver made off with a 20-0 win. Does Beaver have another victory up their sleeve, or will Water Canyon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
