After a string of four wins, Abington Heights's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They fell 71-61 to the Pocono Mountain West Panthers. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Abington Heights' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Pocono Mountain West, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Abington Heights will take on North Pocono at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Pocono Mountain West has already played their next matchup (against Stroudsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
