Baseball Recap: Poplar Bluff Mules vs. Central Tigers
Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Poplar Bluff proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 8-5. Eight seems to be a good number for the Mules as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Noah Spain made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Spain was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
