Basketball Recap: Penns Valley Area Comes Up Short

Penns Valley Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 67-48 to the Central Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Dragons are ranked 102nd).

Penns Valley Area's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Central, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Coming up, Penns Valley Area will face off against Marion Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Marion Center's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
